This Sunday we hear that God calls people for a purpose. Isaiah, a servant, and a faithful person listens and obeys God. We also hear how John the Baptist points to Jesus while calling Him the Lamb of God. Each person has a part in God's plan. John the Baptist sees the Spirit come down on Jesus. He tells everyone that Jesus is the Son of God. This moment shows us who Jesus is and why he came. God chose him, and now he is ready to bring light and life to others. Paul also reminds the people in Corinth that they are holy and called and this message is for us too.

We belong to God. He calls us to live in peace and to follow Jesus. We need to listen to God's voice and follow where he leads. Like the servant, like Paul, and like John, we are sent to share hope with others. This Sunday focuses on Jesus as the Lamb of God and the mission to spread God's salvation. The readings show God's call, the role of Jesus, and how people respond to him. John the Baptist points to Jesus as the Lamb of God. This shows Jesus as the one who takes away sin and brings people back to God. God calls Israel to bring back the people and be a light to all nations. This reminds believers that God calls them to share his message with others. God's plan is not just for one group but for the whole world.

Jesus brings salvation to everyone, not just to a chosen few. John the Baptist tells others about Jesus. This shows the importance of sharing faith and pointing others to Jesus. We too are called to respond, follow Jesus and share His message with others. God speaks to us in ways we can see if we are ready to listen to Him. We need to slow down and pay attention to everyday signs of God's presence, to notice love, peace and kindness all around us. It might be a small sign, but it is about watching , listening and responding to what God is doing in our lives. The readings today show us how prayer, thanksgiving, and obedience all belong together in a life of faith. We are reminded this Sunday that life has meaning from the very beginning.

Each person is known and loved by God before they are even born. No life is an accident. Everyone is part of God's plan. It can be hard to understand what God is calling someone to do. Even the prophets struggled at times. But the readings give us hope. They show that God has a purpose for each person, even when life is difficult. Think about your own call from God. God calls people in different ways, but he calls everyone to follow him. Each person is meant to bring God's light to the world. At Mass, the "Lamb of God" is prayed before Communion. This prayer is a reminder of what Jesus did. He gave his life so that people could be free from sin. He took on suffering so that others could have new life. His sacrifice shows how much God values each person. Because Jesus is the Lamb of God, every human life has dignity. If Jesus gave his life for all people, then every life is important. The sick, the poor, the unborn, the elderly, every person matters to God.

Este domingo escuchamos que Dios llama a las personas con un propósito. Isaías, siervo y persona fiel, escucha y obedece a Dios. También escuchamos cómo Juan el Bautista señala a Jesús, llamándolo el Cordero de Dios. Cada persona tiene un papel en el plan de Dios. Juan el Bautista ve al Espíritu descender sobre Jesús. Les dice a todos que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios. Este momento nos muestra quién es Jesús y por qué vino. Dios lo eligió, y ahora está listo para traer luz y vida a los demás.
