Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
About
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a journey where we share the truths of the Catholic faith and fellowship. We have regular sessions for those who would like to look into the Catholic Church and its teachings.
These sessions are free and open for anyone to attend. If you want to learn more about what it means to be Catholic, we want to invite you to join us. There is no implied commitment on your part to join the Catholic Church. These sessions are opportunities for you and others to ask questions about Jesus Christ and the church.
These gatherings are open to:
- Those who are not baptized
- Those who are baptized Christians from Protestant or Evangelical backgrounds
- Baptized Catholics who have not received their First Communion or Confirmation
- Those practicing Catholics who want to learn more about our faith
Do you have questions?
Do you ever ask yourself...
- What am I looking for in life?
- What is the meaning of my life?
- How can I be a better person?
- What can I do about the loneliness I feel?
- How can I come to know God's Love?
- How can I know the right path God has in store for me?
OR
- How do I learn more about the Catholic Church?
- Here can get answers about my questions about the Church?
If you have these or other questions then we have a places to help answer them. For centuries, people have turned to the Church to find the answers to the deepest and hardest questions of everyday life.
We meet most Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Chino Valley, in the St. Michael building. We plan for the sessions to end at 8:00pm. For directions click here.
